Beaches of Abkhazia

Abkhazia offers its guests excellent conditions for a beach holiday. The best beaches are in Sukhumi, Pitsunda, new Athos and Gagra.

The best place to relax with young children will be Gagra. And all because the city is protected by mountain ranges from the wind and cold air masses. Therefore, the sea here is almost always calm and warm, and the air temperature is several degrees higher than in other regions of the republic.

The beaches located on the territory of the old city are free, but the infrastructure and entertainment network are poorly developed, and therefore there are not many people on them. Less comfortable can be called a vacation on the beaches of New Athos, but they are all absolutely free here.

Holidays in Abkhazia can be a good alternative to the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory or even Turkey.
