On April 14, the Miss Russia 2018 contest ended. This year, a student from Cheboksary, Julia Polyachikhina, became her winner. In total, more than 70 thousand applications from girls from different parts of Russia were submitted to participate in the competition. Traditionally, 50 beauties took part in the final of the competition. The winner was awarded a crown made of white gold and encrusted with diamonds, as well as a Hyundai Solaris car and a cash prize of 3 million rubles. In addition, Julia will now represent Russia at the annual international competitions "Miss Universe" and "Miss World".

“Miss Russia - 2018”: contestants

The final part of the competition was held in Barvikha Luxury Village. Vera Krasnova, who in 2008 won the title of Vice Miss Universe and the famous DJ Maxim Privalov, known to all listeners of Love Radio, was invited to conduct the ceremony. Among the jury members were: Dmitry Malikov, Ksenia Sukhinova, Vladimir Matetskiy and Denis Rodkin.

All girls who took part from 18 to 23 years old. Initially, 50 girls fought for the Miss Russia title in the final, but only 20 of them were able to get into the second round of the final. At this stage, all the beauties needed to defile on stage in red open swimsuits. After that, 10 girls were selected who were to fight in the intellectual competition.

The 1st Vice Miss was named Violetta Turkina, who came from Belgorod. The third place went to Natalia Stroeva from the Republic of Sakha. Each of them received a grant allowing them to study in any chosen university of the country.

The winner of this year's competition got a unique crown. A whole team of Mercury jewelers worked on its creation. The creation of this masterpiece was inspired by the diadem of the wife of Nicholas II Alexandra Fedorovna. The base, the center of the crown and each top of the domes in it are decorated with real pearls. In addition, asymmetric patterns that look like a burst of fireworks are encrusted with diamonds, rubies and sapphires. It was not by chance that the choice fell on these stones, because they personify the colors of the Russian flag. The crown base is made of white gold. Despite the visual massiveness, the winner of the contest noted that the crown is very comfortable.

Little information is known about the girl’s biography, because she is just beginning her career and Julia is still ahead. A beauty was born in 2000 in Cheboksary. Her mother works as an accountant, and her father is an entrepreneur and is engaged in construction. The youngest daughter is still being raised in the family.

Since 10 years, Julia has been engaged in fitness aerobics and even represented Chuvashia at various competitions in this particular sport. She also plays badminton very well. Last year, she graduated with honors from high school and immediately entered the local university at the Faculty of Journalism.

In parallel with her studies, the girl is building a career as a model and has already managed to work in Japan and France. On her track record is a victory in the Miss Chuvashia contest. She also became one of the 10 best Miss Global contestants - an international competition, the final of which last year took place in Albania.

Julia is the owner of an ideal figure.For her special cheekbones and blond hair, the girl is often compared to the model Natasha Poly, who is Julia’s idol. The girl dreamed of participating in the Miss Russia contest from the age of 15 and stubbornly went to her goal.

Since childhood, she used to follow the figure. Therefore, Julia regularly visits the gym. The beauty visits the training sessions where she is engaged in power, cardio loads and stretching at least 3 times a week. She starts her morning with a glass of clean water and only after 30 minutes does she have a full breakfast on schedule. According to Julia, she never tormented herself with exhausting diets and modestly admits that she eats absolutely everything, but without fanaticism.

The first desire that the girl experienced at the end of the contest was to drink some water and have a bite, since Julia admitted that she was so excited that day that she preferred to completely refuse food.

Immediately after the victory, Julia thanked her parents, because they all accepted the choice to become a model. The girl is sure that this contest has changed her whole life, but what to do next, she has not yet decided. Now she has to represent our country at prestigious world beauty contests and Julia herself hopes that she can do it worthily.

What the winner will spend her cash prize on, Julia has not yet decided. But soon she promised to talk about her plans. So far, she admitted that she plans to engage in self-development, and also wants to devote herself to the development of the beauty industry.
