How to get there

There are 2 major international airports on Hainan Island - Sanya and Haikou. Sanya is the most important tourist area of the island. Airplanes of various airlines, as well as charter flights, operate flights to these cities from Moscow and other large cities of Russia. The flight from Moscow to Sanya lasts 10 hours. And from the same Yekaterinburg - 7.5 hours. All because of the geographical proximity to China.

The island can be reached by train from other Chinese cities - Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, but this journey will be long. So from Beijing to Sanya the train takes about 35 hours. But by plane, it’s much faster, even if you do a transfer in Beijing. You can also fly to Hainan with transfers in the cities of Seoul, Doha, and Dubai.
