For a student of any age, the main subject in the room is a desk. He spends a lot of time behind him and not only school performance, but also the health of the child depends on this piece of furniture.

A student’s desk is an integral part of the room’s interior. In fact, this is not just educational furniture, but also an object that instills a sense of taste in a child.

Tables are made of various materials - natural and artificial:

1. Chipboard. Due to reasonable price and wear resistance, this material is firmly entrenched in the market. It is harmless, but if the production technology is not followed, after 5 -7 years it can release formaldehyde resins, which is harmful to the health of the child.
2. MDF. This is a material without synthetic surplus, from a natural composition. It is waterproof and very durable. Its price is higher due to naturalness.
3. Natural wood. Solid wood - the most natural and high-tech option.Such models are durable and high quality. The price for them is higher than the previous options.
4. Plexiglass. It can be a tabletop coating or the tabletop itself is made of this material. For light floors this is a good option.

Choosing a table for a student

Going to buy a desk for a child, parents should focus on quality and safety, and after that - on beauty and design.

The table is selected according to the height of the child. During classes, the child's feet should be firmly on the floor. The table needs to be equipped with cabinets and shelves, and most importantly, a chair. He, like the table, must correspond to the height and age of the child. For convenience and lightening the load acting on the back of the child, the chair should be with a back. Soft options are best.

It is advisable to hear the opinion of the child during the purchase of all these items. After all, he will have to study in this place for more than one month and this will be his own corner.

Location

The ideal location for the desk is the window area. Natural light is a great option for a child. You can embed the countertop in the windowsill, which will save a lot of space. If there is a heating system under it, then you should abandon this idea. As an exception, the heating radiator has an individual temperature control.

There are loft bed systems. Under the bed is a table. The result is a children's mini-cabinet.

The angular model can also be used for zoning the room. But in this case, the table should not interfere with the child during the games.
