Original lamp made of branches

Autumn is the perfect time to make stylish home furnishings with your own hands. After all, you can use literally everything. In this case, we propose to make an original lamp from the branches.

We will prepare such materials:

• dry branches of different lengths and sizes;
• acrylic paints;
• glue gun;
• wire with a lamp;
• brushes;
• base for the lamp;
• bumps;
• sparkles;
• alcohol;
• vase;
• old lampshade.

To begin with, we process the surface of the vase with alcohol. Only after that, gently glue the branches to the vase using a hot glue gun.

Gradually add branches and leave a small gap without them.

We lower the lamp in the lampshade into a glass vase.

Glue branches on the remaining gap.

We decorate the lamp with cones in random order.

An excellent DIY lamp is ready!

If desired, you can additionally color the branches. In this case, white acrylic paint is used.

So he looks in the end result.

If you plan to use it in the winter season, it is better to paint the twigs and cones with silver paint, as well as decorate with different sparkles.

Christmas wreath of branches

In Western countries, it has long been customary to decorate your home for a particular holiday. For example, on Christmas Eve, almost every door you can see themed wreaths. It looks really very beautiful, so we offer to make an original version of the branches with your own hands.

For work, we need the following:

• willow branches;
• bumps;
• floristic wire;
• St. John's wort and lotus seed boxes;
• twine;
• gardening scissors;
• scissors;
• decorative ribbon.

We cut off the decorative floristic wire and wrap several branches with a dense layer.

In the same way we make the second bunch.

We connect two pieces into a longer bunch.

For a more reliable fixation, we use another piece of floristic wire.

We bend the blank and give it the shape of a wreath, as shown in the photo.

We fix the wire, but very carefully so that it does not stand out too much against the general background.

We prepare the cones and attach them to the workpiece using wire.

We add hypericum branches and lotus seed boxes to the composition.

For a more reliable fixation, you can use a glue gun.

We attach several branches of St. John's wort to the junction of willow branches.

Cut the necessary length of the ribbon.

We wrap the wreath with ribbon and tie a knot. Cut off the ends so that they hang slightly.

Cut another piece of ribbon and tie it with the same place. If desired, you can make a small bow for decoration.

A wonderful wreath for Christmas is ready! It looks great as a decor for a door or window.

Stylish decoration of the bouquet with branches

Beautiful floral arrangements always cause special admiration. This is not surprising, because each of them is unique. Therefore, today we propose to make a very original decor for flowers with your own hands.

Necessary materials:

• branches
• flowers and branches with leaves;
• decorative wire;
• nippers;
• secateurs;
• decorative ribbon.

First, cut the branches so that they are the same length.Cut two pieces of wire, the same length. We add each of them in half. Between them we put a stick and make one turn on each side. This is necessary in order to securely fix it.

Alternately add the remaining sticks.

The ends of the wire are securely fixed. The result is a stick track. It can be used several times.

We lay out the track on the work surface. We distribute flowers and branches with leaves evenly, as shown in the photo. It is very important that there is a small distance between them. We twist the track, but not too tightly.

We fix the ends of the track with a small piece of floristic wire.

We decorate an unusual floral arrangement with a beautiful satin ribbon.

We install it in a low glass vase with water. Such a composition will decorate even the simplest, monophonic interior and give spring freshness and lightness.

Original screen decor with branches

Everyone in the house has old and unnecessary things. It’s not necessary to throw them away, because if you wish, you can update them and make original home furnishings with your own hands. Today we offer to give a second life to the old screen.

Prepare the following:

• screen;
• lace fabric;
• construction stapler;
• branches
• glue gun;
• scissors;
• brushes;
• varnish;
• white acrylic paint.

To begin with, we remove all the fabric from the screen. We cover the wooden elements with acrylic paint in two layers. Leave it to dry completely.

We apply a matte varnish for a more reliable fixation.

Using a stapler, we fix a piece of fabric on the screen. It is very important to pull it so that it does not sag as a result.

We attach the branches to the wooden frame with a glue gun.

If desired, thinner branches and cones of different sizes can be used.

Such a screen will decorate any room and certainly will not go unnoticed by your guests.
