Kivu Lake
Among the most dangerous places on Earth is Lake Kivu. It is located in Central Africa. The water in the lake is very clear, and the panoramic landscapes around the lake are very beautiful and picturesque. It would seem that there is scary? And it’s scary here because the mountain lake, which is no different from other reservoirs, is very dangerous for all living things in its vicinity. The lake is dangerous by the presence of methane in it. Its deposits in the lake are about 55 billion cubic meters. m. And it turns out that the entire population living around Lake Kivu is on a powder keg. The place around the lake is a resort area and around there are many resort cities that annually host hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the planet.
These fears are unfounded. Near the beautiful lake is the volcano Kituro. And the most joyless thing is the active volcano. If there is another volcanic eruption or a minor earthquake, then most likely nothing alive will remain in the district. The last time Kutiro made itself felt in 1948. Then, during the eruption of the volcano, Lake Kivu began to boil, which led to the death of all fish and all living things in it.

The road was built at an altitude of 4 km above sea level and has a length of 70 km. This creation is called the Road of Death. Located on the highlands, the road has sharp drops and a width of about 3 meters. On the Death Road, more than 100 people die every year, because the soil often collapses. Currently, the coniferous forests surrounding the city are orange.
Scientists claim that the radioactive background in this zone will continue for hundreds of years, because the dose of radiation in the explosion was 10 times higher than the dose received by the cities of Nagasaki and Jeroshima in Japan during their bombardment.But, despite the danger, several hundred people live in the city of Pripyat, who simply could not or did not want to leave here.

Darvaza or the Gates of Hell is located in Turkmenistan. In the middle of the Karakum desert is a fire crater.
During the search for gas and drilling an exploratory well in 1971, the land failed during the work and a dip was formed with a depth of about 20 meters, from which gas was supplied. So that no one was injured by gas, geologists decided to set fire to the crater, hoping that after a few days the combustion would stop. But the combustion process continues to this day. Being in close proximity to the crater is extremely dangerous because of the risk of collapse of the edges of the abyss and very high temperature. Currently, the diameter of the fire crater is 60 meters.
Death valley
Death Valley is the base of the Kikhpinich volcano, which is located on the Kamchatka Peninsula. On the western slope of this volcano are hot gas sources. This gas is a mixture of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. All living things that get here die within a radius of 2 kilometers. Being in the Afar basin, a person is exposed to danger every second.
Danakil Basin

On the territory of the depression, which is below sea level at around 125 meters, there are 3 volcanoes:
- Erta Ale;
- Ayalu;
- Dallol.
The active volcano Erta Ale throws pieces of red-hot lava from its crater around the clock.
The colorful lake of Dallol volcano is very beautiful. Despite the mortal danger, thousands of tourists come here every year - thrill seekers. The last eruption of the volcano was about a century ago, during which this dead lake was formed with sulfuric acid.
