Unusual decorations for the New Year 2018

j Previously, almost every family had a tradition from year to year to use the same decorations for the Christmas tree and home. But times are changing, so this year we suggest trying to do something more interesting with your own hands. It can be original Christmas toys, wreaths, garlands, decor items and even holiday compositions.

Cone garland

We will need:

• bumps;
• sprigs of spruce;
• twine;
• cotton or cotton;
• a thread;
• artificial snow;
• scissors.

Cut the twine of the required length.

• Super glue;
• the cloth;
• cardboard ring.

Cut the sock as shown in the photo.

For work, we use part of the toe with the heel. We twist it and tie it with a thread.

We turn the sock back and stretch it through the cardboard ring. We fix the edges to pour rice was more convenient.

Gently pour rice.

Before tying the sock, we form the head of a snowman.

We tie the upper part with a thread. We also tie the part with the head.

We tie a piece of fabric under the head like a scarf.

For work, we need the following:

• glass vase or tall candlestick;
• red candle;

• White paper;
• scotch tape (optional).

On a piece of white paper we print the stencil of a star. If desired, you can draw it by hand.

We select the most suitable star size for the candle. Carefully cut it out, forming a kind of stencil.

We apply it to the candle or glue it with adhesive tape.

We fill the space with a silver marker or paint, leave it to dry completely. Separate the stencil and move on to the next step.

Pour some white sand into a glass vase or candlestick.

We set the candle prepared in advance in the center.

We cover the spruce branches with artificial snow and leave to dry for a few minutes.

Fill the empty space with twigs. This must be done very carefully so that they do not touch the wick.

Spray artificial snow at the bottom of the outside of the composition. Due to this, she will look even more festive.

We tie a colored thread around the candlestick. Such a Christmas composition will become a stylish decoration for any home. But still we recommend using it only as a decoration.

Fragrant decoration for the New Year

Creating stunningly beautiful holiday decorations is not at all necessary from artificial materials. Aromatic oranges, spruce branches and even cinnamon sticks are much more suitable for this.Therefore, we propose to make a wonderful Christmas wreath, which certainly will not be left without attention of guests.

We will prepare such materials:

• cinnamon sticks (count the number of pieces individually, taking into account the size of the wreath);
• strong wire;
• scissors or pruner.

Cut off a fairly long piece of wire. To begin, we pass it into each of the three sticks, forming a triangle. Add four more sticks and thread the wire in such a way as to connect them. We attach two more, and then one stick and tightly tie the wire.

Next to the resulting design, put five cinnamon sticks. We will be joining them right now.

Cut the wire and alternately attach the sticks to each corner, as shown in the photo.

We continue to add sticks and fix them firmly.

After all five sticks are woven, we fix the wire. We make eight more of the same designs. We put them in a row to begin to form a beautiful Christmas wreath.

Cut the wire and connect the parts together.

As soon as all structures are interconnected, we securely fasten the wire. This is a very important step.

We attach a loop of wire to any part so that the wreath can be hung on a door or wall.

Magic ball

Surely many remember the ball with snow, which for a long time was almost the main symbol of the New Year. We propose to make an alternative option yourself.

Necessary materials:

• beautifully shaped jar;
• Christmas figure;
• glass of water;
• waterproof glue;
• glycerol;
• multi-colored sparkles;
• bright thread in the tone of the figure;
• twine.

Glue the Christmas figure to the inside of the lid.

Pour multicolored sparkles into an empty jar.

Half-fill the jar with plain water.

Add a few drops of glycerin so that the sparkles fall like snowflakes.

If the sparkles are located as in the photo, then you did everything right.

Gently close the jar with a lid with a figure.

For additional fixation, glue the jar with a lid using waterproof glue.

We decorate the jar with colored thread and twine.
