On the Karolino-Bugaz spit is the village of Zatoka, which is a popular resort in the Odessa region. Sandy beaches and warm waves of the Black Sea coast attract tourists from many countries to this place. The resort is an acceptable option for a budget holiday, both for families and active youth. The village of Zatoka was formed during the construction of the lighthouse in 1827 and is located on two parts of the spit 65 km from Odessa.

The fact that Zatoka beach is sandy and has a gently sloping entrance to the sea gives the village a great advantage over other Black Sea resorts. Particularly well, the village is suitable for vacationers who come with small children.
The Dniester estuary, which flows into the sea, makes the concentration of salt in sea water significantly lower. Observations of stations of the sanitary-epidemiological services in the summer months confirm that the water in the sea is very clean.

If you plan to spend your vacation in a calm and measured environment, then you need to consider the areas located further from the Central part of the resort. Every year, vacationers in the village of Zatoka become more and more. But, despite the large number of tourists, there are usually no problems with the choice of housing.
The cost of an economy class room without amenities starts from 300 rubles. The conditions under this option are rather scarce - the shower, as well as the toilet, is located on the street and most likely without hot water.

Therefore, if tourists go to the resort by car, then the main products can be bought on the way to the vacation spot. Products in Zatoka stores are 25-30% more expensive than other Ukrainian cities.
For those who want to significantly save on food during their holidays, you can cook your own meals. In all cottages, guest houses for this there are equipped kitchens, which must have the necessary appliances and utensils.

Advantages and disadvantages of rest
Zatoka village is a great place to relax and improve in the summer. At the beginning of the season, there are fewer vacationers on the beaches, the water in the sea is cleaner, but during this period it is colder. Storms by the end of summer bring many algae ashore. Jellyfish live in the waters of the Black Sea and meeting with these inhabitants can slightly overshadow the rest.
Payment for housing is best not to immediately make for the entire stay. The facades of cottages are sometimes very beautiful, and the rooms are miserable, and the price is clearly too high.
Another problem found on all beaches is garbage. Many vacationers scold the resort village for the dirty sea and beach. But, considering this factor, it is necessary to take into account the culture and upbringing of tourists, and not blame this sea.
